10 kW Air Source Heat Pump for Cheshire Renovation Project
Commissioned: March 2023
We were contacted by the customer to design and install a 10kW air source heat pump system but what turned out to be ground floor underfloor heating and a new radiators system on the first and second floors as well. We worked with the client's builder and architect in planning the internal heating systems in line with their build schedule. A 12m buried pre-insulated pipeline linked the outdoor heat pump unit to the indoor heating and hot water distribution unit to provide all space and water heating requirements.
18 kW Biomass Heating System for Cheshire Cottage
Commissioned: March 2023
This project was to replace an existing biomass boiler that the customer was unhappy with due to fuel feed and efficiency problems. The manufacturer of the boiler contacted us to offer the project which we happily accepted and installed the Okofen 18kW Condensing boiler. Following commissioning of the system, we have already had feedback from the customer reporting a huge increase in efficiency and big cost savings as the usage of wood pellets has fallen drastically.
105 kW Biomass Heating System for Cotswolds Estate
Commissioned: February 2023
This Cotswolds estate near Cirencester has a development of converting several barns into holiday lets and the brief for us was to design a heating system capable of providing space and water heating to each property. We selected the ETA Pellets Compact 105kW boiler with a 2,000L buffer tank and fuel storage of up to 12 tonnes. We are due to return to carry out all heating and hot water systems inside each property as the development progresses.
32 kW Biomass Heating System for Leicestershire Farm House
Commissioned: December 2022
Based in a rural village, this farm house had not had a fully working heating system for quite some time. The existing old oil boiler was spent and the customer needed something quickly and had the desire to go green. We provided a design and specification of the Okofen PES32 boiler, 6tn wood pellet fuel silo, and pumps for the heating and hot water system.
12kW Condensing Biomass Boiler for Shropshire Cottage
Commissioned: October 2022
We were approached to design a new heating system for an old Shropshire cottage for two elderly tenants. The spec was to "go green" and lower overall heating costs and provide a more reliable heating system as the existing coal fired heating wasn't up to scratch anymore. The Okofen Condens 12kW boiler and KGT2620 6 tonne wood pellet fuel store was perfect in terms of capability and overall cost effectiveness.
45 kW Biomass Boiler and 6tn Fuel Silo for Warwickshire Cottage

A newly purchased property, the customer had a clear vision of going green and wanted to install a biomass boiler system. The brief was clear, get rid of the LPG boilers and replace with a more efficient biomass system and fuel silo self-contained within the garage / outbuildings. We turned to HERZ biomass for this installation with 6 tonne wood pellet fuel silo, rising Flexi augers and 1,000 litre buffer tank. We linked to the main property by 45m of buried pre-insulated pipe.
20 kW Wood Pellet Biomass Boiler for Oxfordshire Customer

Our customer wanted to get off their dependency of LPG for their gas boiler due to fear of rising prices and supply issues in their rural location. They contacted the boiler manufacturer who made contact with us and after a number of discussions we settled with the Okofen PES 20 boiler which supplies all space heating and hot water requirements for the property.
200 kW Secondhand Biomass Installation for Leicestershire Farm
Commissioned: September 2021
This was a unique situation where the farm owners were building a brand new food processing plant which, amongst standard space and hot water heating, also required a specific temperature-controlled hot water process system for the production of food items. We designed and installed a packaged plate heat exchanger system to provide 55C water temperature for four hours during each production session. We also provide a 40ft shipping container plantroom with biomass boiler, back-up boiler and two 5,000 litre buffer tanks.
50 kW biomass system for Grade 2 Listed Cheshire office building
Commissioned: March 2021
The client had just moved into this Grade 2 listed building, the villages former primary school built around 1875. Due to the leaky features of the building (single glaring, no roof insulation, and single layer stone walls, we had to oversize the duty of the boiler and timber clad the external fuel store to remain in keeping and satisfy the local planning authority.
20 kW Biomass System for Oxfordshire home

The client found us via the Internet and requested the installation of a new biomass heating system to replace their old oil boiler. The client, a university lecturer of environmental sustainability, was keen to go green. We designed this 20kW wood pellet ETA PC boiler to meet all space heating and hot water demands for this grade 2 listed stone cottage.
System upgrade & fitting of pre-insulated pipe for Cotswolds Estate

The client was the owner of a large Cotswolds Estate. The builder contacted us to design and install a system upgrade to a 160kW biomass boiler system. The project involved the design, supply and installation of 150m of 50mm pre-insulated pipe to the main property and some plantroom upgraes/adjustments
120 kW Ground Source Heat Pump for Shropshire Estate
Commissioned: September 2020
We were provided with a pre-design system spec by the clients M&E contractor for the design and installation of a ground source heat pump. We designed this Stiebel Eltron 120kW system with 6,000 m of buried ground loop collector pipes in the client's field. It is now providing all space heating and hot water requirements for the whole family.
